Food Safety and Certifications
Food safety and quality is a key aspect of Tribe 9 Foods’ mission to improve peoples lives through food. Food safety is on the forefront of our minds throughout the whole process; from sourcing high quality ingredients, to following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), to our rigorous finished product testing procedures. Our passion and commitment for providing our customers with quality food drives us to continuously improve our processes. We constantly monitor and abide by the latest food safety regulations and maintain our GFSI recognized certification. We also hold several other certifications shown below to provide our consumers with the foods that make them feel their best.
Allergen Control Program
Allergens are controlled through ingredient receiving and storage, processing, verification of cleaning effectiveness, label verification, color-coding, new product development, and training.
We have dedicated bays with positive airflow.
We are audited annually for Gluten Free, Non-GMO, Organic, and FSSC 22000 food safety certifications. All employees are trained on allergen control as part of initial employee training and as a part of our annual food safety training.
